Jason Priestley: Priestley is an owner of the new FAZZT Race Team, which is competing full time in the IndyCar Series in 2010 with Canadian racer Alex Tagliani.

Shannon Doherty: She lives in Malibu, California. She also has a horse ranch in Ventura County, California and owns seven horses and two dogs.

Jennie Garth: Garth appeared on the U.S. game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? on November 21, 2008. She won $100,000 for her charity, the American Heart Association. This TV show also noted that Garth owns a horse ranch in Santa Barbara, CA. Her family also loves Crocs Shoes.

Ian Ziering: Variety reported that Ziering had auditioned the previous week for the opportunity to succeed Bob Barker as host of The Price Is Right.

Gabrielle Carteris: In the March 17, 2008 issue of People magazine, Carteris described an injury suffered while filming a TV movie in Vancouver, Canada, in 2006 that partially paralyzed her face and affected her speech for over six months.

Luke Perry: Perry has done considerable voice-over work for various animated series, often playing himself. He played himself (as Krusty the Clown’s half brother) in an episode of The Simpsons (1993). He voiced himself in an episode of Johnny Bravo, giving Johnny dating advice after Johnny saved him from a stampede of fan girls. Perry then voiced himself once again in an episode of Family Guy, where he was labeled as gay by Peter and sues the family. Peter tries to seduce Perry into revealing his homosexuality and fails. However, by the end of the episode Perry is seen with Mayor Adam West, about to engage in sex. His other voice work includes The Incredible Hulk, Biker Mice from Mars, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, and The Night of the Headless Horseman.

Tori Spelling: In July 2007, Spelling became a minister to marry a gay couple at Chateau La Rue. A tape of the ceremony was shown on Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

James Eckhouse: is awesome

Carol Potter: She also appeared on a special “TV Moms” Episode of the Anne Robinson version of The Weakest Link, In which she won $124,000 for her charity, beating June Lockhart.

I’m sure that’s coming. I’m pretty sure I saw a few people with their cameras out for that….

The more I show my iPhone wallpaper to show inquisitive people what my girlfriend looks like, the more I’m realizing that the iPhone is like the new “wallet photo.” Technology is ever evolving and changing the way we socialize. While I’m not talking about tech nostalgia per se, but it does get me thinking about how certain things have changed the way we interact.

Going Out: In the trailer for the movie “Hot Tub Time Machine,” the kid is asking out a girl and asks how can she get in touch with them. He goes through all of his methods: text, email, cell phone. She finally says, “Come Find Me.” His reply would be the same as mine: “That sounds hard.” Even going back to when I was in college, we had cell phones but we still struggled to get in touch with the people that were out – texting was still relatively new. Now, I have Foursquare telling me where all my friends, acquaintances, and everyone in between are. Throw in Twitter, and I don’t actually have to actually engage with anyone to go out with them. Some people may find that weird, but the planned serendipity is nice- allowing me to just “wing” a night together and still end up hanging out with friends and having a lot of fun.

Apartment Hunting: Seriously, can you imagine looking for apartments without Craigslist? I can’t. It’s a one-stop shop. Sure, it’s the same as classifieds – except it brought it to the masses. Now, if an apartment is going to be rented, there will be an advertisement in Craigslist. It’s made it so easy to move that I couldn’t even tell you how people did it before.

Directions I was in Canada recently for a movie shoot (I know, I live such a fun life) and I didn’t sign up for the Canadian Data plan, so my iPhone was simply a cell phone. I felt lost. What did people do before GPS-enabled phones? I wouldn’t be able to do half the things I do in New York without my Google Maps. It’s crazy to think that people used to live that way…that I used to live that way…but that just goes to show how technology changes behavior.

Flash forward all these years to Google Wave.  I wanted Google Wave early and, lo and behold, I have it.  The problem: No one else does.  Sure, I have a handful of friends that use it but it ultimately is proving to be useless without mass adoption.  The friends that I do share the luxury of having an account aren’t the friends that I’m collaborating with.  I understand Google’s desire to slowly increase the amount of people using it but, since it’s a collaboration tool, it really is useless until a large number of your friends – or at least a large number of people that you do collaborative work with – actually use it.

I’m excited at the possibility of Wave and think it could really be an amazing addition to projects that I have with friends/colleagues/business partners around the world.  But, right now, I feel stupid having it – staring at the blank canvas of waves feeling quite alone in the world.  It’s hard to enjoy using a collaboration tool when no one you collaborate with uses it….
