I recently acquired two vastly different but equally beautiful books to add to my collection. The first is 5×7 by William Eggleston. It’s a collection of his photos and contains one of my favorite photos by him.

I was then came across Kehinde Wiley and had a chance to pick up this book (thanks to a co-worker). Wow. The work is amazing. Taking models off the street at 125th st in Harlem and making them pose in Renaissance masterworks. It’s really amazing and powerful stuff.
