Nice way to start my Tuesdays: adding my comments to the Daily Intel’s Gossip Girl Commentary. Here is my comment:
+10 for V having her arm around Dan in the post-coital cuddling. I mean, they were both supposedly in love with each other just two years ago. I know people who still pine for their High School loves 15 years later. This will get ugly. I can’t wait.
+10 for V having finally bedded a Humphrey. Will make Season 5’s affair with Rufus that much weirder….
+10 for Dan’s “omg this is going to happen I can’t smile too big” smirk when V and Olivia are kissing. Because that’s what you do in a threesome. You can’t over react because you’re afraid you’ll ruin it, or wake up from the dream.
+1 for the dream conversation where Dan tells Nate about the threesome, which then gets posted online- not to Gossip Girl – but to the Endless Knights blogs.
+5 for V getting more nerdy the drunker she got. During the three some, she probably quoted Endless Knights lines to Olivia.
+10 for Nate showing up in a Tux to Cotillion, when his only business there was seemingly to drop off the note for Blair. Nate was probably hoping he could bag a high schooler so he came prepared.
+100 For the shoulder checks that Jenny seems to give everyone she walks by lately. Only a girl from Brooklyn would add violence to being Queen of Constance. Thanks for staying ‘hood Little J.
+10 for Jenny actually displaying some of those natural Queen skills she had the first two seasons. She was evil and it was hot. It will make her fall that much better.
-1000 for the entire Cotillion. The first Cotillion was at least somewhat accurate. What happened to at least trying to capture reality? And that band?!?!?! CeCe, we miss you. Get well soon!
-10 for the Break Up scene. Break Ups are never that pretty. Especially among adolescent gay boys.
-10 for Blair giving up that easily with Serena and Tripp. She would have meddled, not stormed off. She bailed on Chuck to spend time with Serena, she wouldn’t let Serena bail on her.
