As I was walking home today, I was bouncing around to Peter Bjorn and John’s “Writer’s Block” album. It was a cool fall day and I was totally enveloped in the music. As I walked into my house, I took my headphones out and my world got quiet. I looked at my iPhone and headphones and smiled…
In May, I received a few pairs of headphones from Skullcandy as a gift. I’ve used them every day since and they look just as new as they do in the picture above – which was taken right after I opened the package. I absolutely love these things so much so, that I was visibly saddened when I realized I left these at work over my long weekend trip to Izeafest. As someone who has a deep and profound love of music and currently a pedestrian, a good pair of headphones are mana from the gods. I can’t imagine living without my Skullcandy earbuds.
Giveaway: Of the things I did receive from Skullcandy, I do not use the Double Agent pair. I opened the package and tried them out and, while they had great sound quality, the fact that the music was run off an SD card and couldn’t be hooked up to your iPhone wasn’t for me. I met the skull candy gals at MacWorld one year and they blinded me into buying a cheap pair of headphones from them. Amazing the power women have over men
You didn't like their headphones? Maybe I've just never had a quality pair before these, but these have outlasted every pair I own….
They were ok but they were a really cheap pair that they sell at a convention. They don't sound the greatest and they are uncomfortable. Their other headphones that I have owned are great. It's just the cheap ones that suck.
I've heard a lot about them, but I just use the stock Apple earbuds…

I've got a pair of Lynx Audio (LoST CaUZe edition) headphones I picked up at FYE a year ago that were in a damaged box for $30. They normally retail for $120. These are huge studio or DJ type headphones, and they're awesome, but I think I'd love to win the Skull Candy headphones for more portability. Plus they're hella stylish and green is a great color! Wish'd I'd had a pair with me at IZEAFest this past weekend, had a few moments where I'd love to just tune out the world and chill from being social for just a quick break. Know what I mean?
