I was talking to my dad today and he informed me that I was on Page 1 of Google Results for: George Smith. It is my FriendFeed account – which I would have expected Twitter, because I rarely really interact on Friendfeed these days.

I honestly never thought anything I do would ever appear on Page One of Google search results.  My name just seems way too popular.  But, with Google putting a lot of emphasis on microsites like Friendfeed, Twitter, etc – I guess my activity finally pushed me to the front page.   Can I climb the summit to the #1 ranking for George Smith on Google?  I don’t know – seems pretty lofty.  I would love it if this blog could make it to the top but I doubt that will happen.  Still – with my activity on the Crocs Blog, Twitter, Friendfeed and many other places – it’s possible.  With your help – it might even be probable!
